Fort Worth Zoo

The Fort Worth Zoo has 12 permanent exhibit areas — Penguins, World of Primates, Asian Falls, Raptor Canyon, Cheetahs, Flamingo Bay, Meerkat Mounds, Australian Outback, African Savannah, Parrot Paradise, Texas Wild! and the Museum of Living Art (MOLA).

Spring Break Camp
March 17 & 18

The Zoo’s day camps for 1st to 6th grade students include crafts, games, animal presentations and a daily trip into the Zoo. Dinner and snacks will be provided, but children must pack a lunch each day. Contact the FW Zoo to register.

Fort Worth Botanical Garden

Enjoy the beauty of Fort Worth’s Botanic Gardens, home to more than 2,500 species of plants. The Japanese Garden, where the Koi-filled pools, sculptured hillsides, crafted stonework, and dramatic waterfalls provide a view of exotic conservation. Or explore the winding paths of luxuriant tropical foliage in the Conservatory.

Fort Worth Stockyards

The Stockyards are an exciting blend of old and new  Texas, with Historic Walking Tours that visit the Texas Trail of Fame, The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame and more, over 25 unique shops art gallery and great restaurants that offer anything from ribs to enchiladas.

Fort Worth Museum of Science and History

Located in Fort Worth’s Cultural District, the Museum of Science and History’s new expansion includes  the Cattle Raisers Museum. Exhibits also include DinoLabs; Paluxysaurus jonesi, the official dinosaur of Texas; the Noble Planetarum; the Fort Worth Children’s Museum; Innovation Studios;  and the Omni Imax Theater.
