Ideas for Making Brunch at Home

Spring Cleaning Check List

April 21, 2011

Spring is here and it’s time for your annual Spring Cleaning. But where do you start? That is a good question and  I have compiled a simple Spring Cleaning Checklist to help you organize your tasks in to smaller, more manageable jobs.

Tackle one room at a time. The best way to let spring cleaning overwhelm you is to try to do too many things at one time. Take it easy and get the family involved and you will be finished before you know it. Remember that a clean home makes for a healthy one.  You can literally breathe easier once your house is clean.

To get started, set up large boxes or containers for items you might want to donate, recycle and  trash bins for things you will throw away. See these previous posts from My Personal Valet

General Cleaning

  • Dust and wipe down all of the ceiling fans in the house.
  • Take down window and door screens, hose them off outside and wipe them down with warm soap and water.
  • Clean your windows inside and out.

  • Clean the inside of the microwave.
  • Clean the oven, stove top and burners.
